Overview

  • Salary: £24,000

The purpose of the role is:

  • Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders efficiently and accurately
  • Manage preloved designer clothing and handbags in our bustling stockroom
  • Keep meticulous stock records and ensure smooth inventory flow across all Designer Exchange locations
  • Maintain a tidy and organised workspace for optimal team performance
  • Liaise with couriers and coordinate pickups and deliveries
  • Contribute to a dynamic and passionate team in a rapidly growing environment
  • Respond to customer care enquiries regarding dispatches
  • Liaise with relative departments at all stages
  • Work within a team towards operational and commercial objectives
  • Assist with ensuring that key department KPI’s are met
  • Follow the delegation of management

The ideal candidate will:

  • Strong physical stamina for a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Excellent organisational skills and a knack for maintaining accurate records
  • Be able to use internal portals and be proficient in G-suite (particularly Google Sheets)
  • Be a fast learner who can follow delegated tasks
  • Pay close attention to detail and accuracy

  • Create attributes and accurately describe products
  • Research RRP’s for the models we sell
  • Quality control of products to meet company standards
  • Liaise with relative departments at all stages
  • Work within a team towards operational and commercial objectives
  • Assist with ensuring that key department KPI’s are met
  • Follow the delegation of management
  • Supporting buyers and wider team on ad hoc projects
  • Good understanding of brand and departmental margin targets
  • Respond to customer care enquiries regarding attribution

E-Commerce Styling Assistant

Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support all day-to-day studio operations and core /seasonal/special project workflows
  • Prepare items for shooting; steam clothing, stuff bags, clean shoes and accessories
  • Prepare mannequin, table and flat lay styling with clothing, bags, shoes and accessories for E-commerce Photography
  • Styling products adhere to DEX style guidelines
  • Work closely with Photographers to deliver all online brand imagery that accurately depicts all products to the best standard
  • Meet daily shoot targets and keep reshoots to a minimum
  • Keep on top of the ‘New In’ area, ensuring it is organised by category and store
  • Build good cross-functional relationships with the Ecommerce and Buying teams
  • Locate products needed on set from our stockroom / return each product to the correct place after the shooting
  • Make sure tags are kept with items and reprint new tags if needed
  • Provide support to the wider team on creative shoots
  • Ensuring the shoots are striving to support the delivery of the department strategy
  • Responsible for making sure the location is clear throughout and end of each shoot day
  • Documenting product codes
  • Maintain and replenish the styling tool kit
  • Keep the studio clean, tidy and organised at all times
  • General admin, such as title and category changes

The role will involve the below tasks:

Shoot Preparation

  • To be given a brief detailing the kind of style/aesthetic to be achieved and any other requirements
  • Product sourcing and admin e.g. spreadsheets, item log & product organisation
  • Putting together outfits for a shoot
  • Working with other departments, providing consultation and advice to help them achieve a desired end result

On set:

  • Organising all of the looks, steaming, pinning, fitting clothes and products to models to make sure they match your vision

Post Production:

  • Unpack & quality check of items
  • Passing items to relevant department for adjustments e.g. buying (if required)
  • Preparing items for e-commerce shooting
  • Returning requested items back to stores via logistics department
  • Edit item list into individual outfit breakdown & share with Photographers
